Julie Moscato

Julie Moscato is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practicing in Burlington, Ontario, and virtually across Ontario.

Julie supports women on their therapeutic journeys as they navigate:

  • Identity, relational and emotional shifts that can arise during perimenopause and menopause

  • Anxiety 

  • Life transitions, like postpartum, parenting shifts, career changes or grief, 

  • Postpartum depression

  • Stress and overwhelm, 

  • Women’s issues, and

  • Work-life balance. 
     

Julie’s approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing.

Julie holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University with Distinction, a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of Toronto, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Brock University. 

 

Julie also has the following certifications/training:

  • Narrative Therapy certification through the Windz Centre, 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Specialization in Anxiety from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto

  • Perinatal Mental Health Certificate from Canadian Perinatal Mental Health Trainings (estimated completion: December 2025)
     

In addition to training and clinical work, Julie brings over a decade of experience in community safety work, alongside over five years of direct mental health practice. This diverse background informs her therapeutic lens and deepens her commitment to walking alongside clients with care, respect, and understanding.
