Colposcopy is looking at your vagina and cervix with a microscope.

This is usually done for abnormal testing of her cervix but also for  suspicious cervical, vagina, and  vulvar conditions. You may or may not need a biopsy depending what is seen at the time of colposcopy.

This is done in our office and usually is not painful although may be with some discomfort like a pap test.
